What is the Project Submission Portal?
The Project Submission Portal is specifically designed
to allow Information Contributors to electronically submit
project leads, construction bid documents including plans,
specifications and addenda as well as project updates to our Project
Research Operation. While this portal conveniently enables the
submission of the above types of information, Reed Construction Data's
standards require that all information submitted be verified prior to
issuance to our customers, therefore expect to be contacted by a member
of our Project Research staff who will verify and gather any additional
and relevant information.
How will Reed Construction Data protect against misuse of your submitted information?
All material submitted through the portal may be published
and made available to Reed customers in a non-alterable electronic
format. Additionally, all client contracts specifically limit the use of
the documents via the following statements: "Customer agrees not to copy,
disclose, publish, distribute or disseminate the Information to any third
party, directly or indirectly. Customer further agrees not to resell
the Information or to use the Information for the purpose of creating
or enhancing any product which is competitive with the Information".
What type of projects should be submitted?
When submitting projects through this portal, Reed Construction Data
requests all types of projects be included (excluding single family
residential) equal to or exceeding $100,000 in construction value.
Why should my plans, specifications & addenda be submitted electronically?
The industry has undergone a transition in the way bid documents are
transmitted and made available to the construction community. Unlike
other information providers, Reed Construction Data believes you can
save substantial print costs and time by transmitting documents to us
via the most simple and cost effective way - electronically - thereby
ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and consistency of your data.

Is the Reed Project Submission Portal secure?
All submitted information is well protected from unauthorized access
through a variety of modern security measures. Users are authenticated
via a unique user name and password and passwords are encrypted. Project
data on the portal is only available by the user group under whose
credentials it was created. Information Contributors can feel confident
that business information they may choose to submit to Reed Construction
Data is handled at the highest security levels.
